On their own, these aren’t enough to fail your test.
A major fault (also known as a “serious fault”) is a mistake that could potentially be dangerous.

If you make one major fault, you will fail the test.
You can pass your driving test with up to 15 minor faults.
However, there’s an important catch — if you repeat the same minor fault too many times, it can be upgraded to a major.
For example, repeatedly forgetting mirrors may eventually be seen as a safety issue rather than a minor mistake.
The simplest way to understand it is this:
Minors = small lapses
Majors = safety concerns
The test isn’t about being perfect — it’s about being safe and in control at all times.
